It deals with the description of such centre and its philosophy and its purpose. Furthermore, it researches the problem of families with children with disabilities, their situation and their needs. It outlines the activities on offer by mother and child centres in the dominion of Czech Republic and their attendance by families looking after a child with disability. The paper offers a research into the actual needs of families looking after a child with disability and a research into the offer of activities by mother and child centres. This research is a stepping stone into the next part of the Bachelor Paper, which further deals with working out the methodology to effectively address the activities and services of mother and child centres on offer for parents and children with health disabilities. The attachments consist of models of questionaire research, list of addresses of mother and child centres in Czech Republic and an offer of the methodology for mother and child centres.Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o mateřských centrech a jejich návštěvností rodinami pečujícími o dítě s postižením. Zabývá se popisem mateřského centra jako takového, jeho filozofií, smyslem. Dále je zaměřena na problematiku rodin dětí s postižením, jejich situací a potřebami. Mapuje nabídku aktivit mateřských center na území České republiky, a jejich návštěvnost rodinami pečující o dítě s postižením. Práce nabízí výzkumné šetření o aktuální potřebě rodin pečujících o dítě s postižením a nabídce aktivit mateřských center. Tato šetření jsou dále odrazovým můstkem pro další část bakalářské práce, kterou je vypracování metodiky k efektivnímu oslovení nabídky aktivit a služeb MC rodičům a dětem se zdravotním postižením.
