Ein Überblick über in der quantenstatistischen und informationstheoretischen Literatur zu findende Entropiedefinitionen wird gegeben. Die Frage, ob Kriterien für die Vergabe der Bezeichnung "Entropie" aufstellbar seien, wird diskutiert. Am Beispiel eines zweiteiligen Verbundsystems wird die Subadditivitätsproblematik der quantenstatistischen Entropie erörtert, die aus dem Widerspruch zwischen der aus der quanteninformationstheoretischen Literatur bekannten Subadditivität der quantenstatistischen von-Neumann-Entropie und der Additivität der phänomenologisch-thermodynamischen Zustandsgröße Entropie entsteht.
