EFEKTIVITAS PENYALURAN ZAKAT PRODUKTIF DALAM MENINGKATKAN KESEJAHTERAAN EKONOMI MUSTAHIK (STUDI KASUS LAZNAS INISIATIF ZAKAT INDONESIA YOGYAKARTA)

Poverty remains a problem that is still being faced by the Indonesian people. To overcome this problem, an instrument is needed that can improve the quality of life, the economic development of the people, and empower the poor, as well as function to address poverty. One of these instruments is zakat. The potential of zakat can be maximized to improve the welfare of the people and alleviate poverty through productive zakat management, which aims at empowerment and is usually done by providing capital assistance to small businesses or micro-enterprises. Through the zakat empowerment program implemented by Inisiatif Zakat Indonesia in the Lapak Berkah Program, it is hoped that the program can improve the economic prosperity of its recipients and address the problem of poverty. Therefore, to gain a deeper understanding of zakat management and the effectiveness of the program in achieving its goals by Inisiatif Zakat Indonesia (IZI), the author raises this issue in the thesis entitled "The Effectiveness of Productive Zakat Distribution in Improving the Economic Welfare of Mustahik (Case Study of LAZNAS Inisiatif Zakat Indonesia Yogyakarta)". This research is a field research with an empirical juridical approach. The data analysis method used is descriptive-qualitative. Descriptive-qualitative utilizes qualitative data and is described descriptively, used to analyze social events, phenomena, or conditions. In this study, data collection methods using observation, interviews, and documentation. The theory of mas{lah{ah mursalah is used to analyze productive zakat management based on the welfare of the people and to analyze effectiveness using variables proposed by Subagyo, namely target accuracy, program socialization, program achievement, and program monitoring. The results show that productive zakat management in the Lapak Berkah Program has the potential to provide significant benefits to the community. Inisiatif Zakat Indonesia Yogyakarta through the Lapak Berkah Program has been quite effective in managing and distributing productive zakat to mustahik as measured by the variables proposed by Subagyo, namely from the target accuracy, program socialization, program achievement, and program monitoring variables that have been well fulfilled. This program can also help improve the economic welfare of mustahik, as seen from the increase in income and the ability of mustahik to be self-sufficient economically after participating in the Lapak Berkah Progra
