Expressing intensity in Serbian and Macedonian The article presents the way of expressing intensity in Serbian and Macedonian. The analysis of derivatives was made using the semantic word-formation methodology. It was initially assumed that the close relationship of the languages manifests itself in word-formation. The analysis of derivatives in this category shows a large similarity, such as the occurrence of the same or similar formatives, the distribution of formatives, the variance of formatives, but also that both languages retain their specificity.
