This paper proposes a statistical model of multiple linear regression (MLR) for decision-making on tax collection, applying it to the Mexican social security system, considering the factors with higher incidence on income perception. The model applied has statistical significance, along with the explanatory variables: number of workers and employers affiliated to the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), contribution percentage (in worker and employer quotas), as well as the existing rate of informality, this at a confidence level of 90%.
