We highlight current and future issues related to mindfulness at work in order to guide research and development in this field, moving forward. Drawing on research, we outlined issues in the lack of clarity of definition and use of mindfulness as a construct resulting in multiple ways of measuring and conceptualising the phenomena. Secondly, we highlight issues in interventions at work including the efficacy of mindfulness training and interventions and suggest caution in adapting interventions from clinical fields to work psychology. Finally, we draw on issues related to the workplace itself as an antecedent to mindfulness at work.
