The separation between the red and white symbolize the distinct difference of northern and southern Utah. Even though the differences may be drastic, we are still one beautiful state. 3. The Red symbolizes our courage to lead the country and the world into new heights of advancement in the sciences, arts and technology. 4. The White symbolizes our noble effort to stand as an example of love and acceptance of all humans. 5. The Blue symbolizes Utah's past and future. Like a river at the top of the Wasatch we started small, but through our industrious efforts we have carved canyons and will continue to have a growing impact on the world around us as we thrive together as one state.
