For children's development playing has an significance roll. : In a study of how the schoolyards formation influence the children's desire to play

The purpose of this study is to illustrate the impact on children's development around playing and how significance the formation of the schoolyards is focusing on how it inspire and calls to play within the children's. The study will also show how the youth workers experience the schoolyards and how they can incorporate the playground in their work to inspire the children's play and activities. The methods used in this study is based on both real conversations and by mail with educated youth workers and observations. The results shows that the schoolyard environment is very important for the children's play and development. The study reveals the importance of having nature like forest nearby and that the environment should be suited for everyone. The children need spaces on the schoolyard and in the nature to evolve their ways of free playing, and also their needs for suited playground equipment.Syftet med arbetet är att belysa lekens betydelse för barns utveckling, samt undersöka vilken betydelse skolgårdens utformning har, med fokus på hur den inspirerar och uppmanar till lek hos barnen. Syftet är också att undersöka hur pedagoger upplever skolgården och hur den fungerar som en inspiration till lek och aktiviteter. Metoderna som används i undersökningen är samtalsintervjuer, intervjuer via mail med utbildade fritidspedagoger och observationer. Resultatet visar att skolgårdsmiljön är viktig för leken och barnens utveckling. I undersökningen framkommer det också att närheten till skog och natur är viktig och att skolgården bör anpassas så att den tillgodoser allas behov. För att kunna utvecklas i leken behöver skolgården ge barnen utrymme till fri lek och lekredskap som är anpassade för alla. Av de pedagoger jag intervjuat och av de observationer jag tagit del av har det kommit fram att pedagogerna upplever just närheten till skogen och de gröna områdena som det mest positiva med deras skolgårdsmiljö, och att det är just det som bidrar och inspirerar till lek. Jag upplevde även att det var där barnen höll till som mest när de lekte på rasten
