Introduction: Sport activity contributes to improve physical conditions and to promote health. However, its importance is often overlooked. It is not always adequately treated in schools.Materials and methods: An anonymous questionnaire was administered to 500 students. Demographic data and information about sport activity were also collected.Results: A total of 450 (90% response rate) questionnaires were completed. The 90 % of the sample reported current practice of sport. Sport was considered significant by 65% of the students.
