Traditional measures of organizational culture often focus on culture as a static entity, defined by its traits. However, studies have shown that culture is organic and ever-changing. Therefore, organizational culture should also be measured in terms of its shifting nature, what direction this nature is shifting, and how quickly this shift is happening. The following study seeks to develop a scale to measure the physical properties of organizational culture, dubbed Cultural Mass, Cultural Direction, and Cultural Velocity.
