The bachelor thesis entitled "Problems of mimetic muscle synkinesis in peripheral facial nerve palsy" aims to provide a comprehensive view and describe peripheral facial nerve palsy, as well as to describe the possibilities of physiotherapy to prevent synkinesis. Peripheral palsy of the facial nerve has recently become a very common neurological disease. With our faces, we express both our emotions and mood, either consciously or unconsciously, so it can have a big impact on the mental state. It is most often manifested by paralysis of mimic muscles, when wrinkles on the forehead are smoothed out.
