This thesis focuses on the biography elaboration of the successful Czechoslovak boxer Bohumil Němeček. In terms of content, the thesis is primarily focused on his personality, secondarily on a brief mapping of the boxing history in the world, Czech lands and Czechoslovakia and the rules of boxing are also described there. In terms of time, the thesis is mainly focused on the 60s - 70s, in a broader context the period of the beginning of boxing in our country and in the world is covered. Excerpts from periodicals and literary memoirs can be found in the thesis too. The thesis is also supplemented with a large amount of period photographs and pictures
