The History of Physical Education and Sport in Jindřichův Hrade

The thesis deals with the history of physical education sport in Jindrichuv Hradec from beginnings, that means since establishment of the Sokol Physical Training in 1871 to the present. The work is divided into several parts. The first part is about briefly general history of Jindrichuv Hradec. The rest of parts are divided by time pe5riod. The second part shows the history of the development of sports industry until the end of the First World War. The third part describes timeline the period between 1918 to 1945. The following part depicts the post-war period until 1989. The next part is about modern sports since 1989 to the present time. In the last part are important sports figures
