This study aims to determine the effect of career development and intrinsic motivation on employee performance at the Pangkalan Lesung District Office, Pelalawan Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach, the research data was collected from 31 employees of the Pangkalan Lesung District Office, Pelalawan Regency. Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) was used to test the hypothesis. The results obtained from this study are career development has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, there is a positive and significant influence on intrinsic motivation on employee performance, there is a simultaneous positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Pangkalan Lesung District Office
