Introduction: Healthcare workers who are in contact with infected cases or work in a high-risk situation have increased hand washing frequency.Aim: To determine the prevalence of allergic or contact dermatitis secondary to hand hygiene at Omni Hospital.Methods: This is a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional research, which allowed the collection of data and statistical analysis of the survey applied to health professionals corresponding to the Omni Hospital. The sample consisted of 393 participants selected by snowball sampling.Results: 61.3% of the participants were women, the prominent age range was 31 to 40 years, and the service area with the highest number of respondents was the assistance area.
