La perspectiva de género y espacios universitarios libres de violencia de género

One of the challenges of universities as Public Educational Institutions is to address gender violence through public policies that emanate from the constitutional with a gender perspective and in this way mechanisms and strategies are implemented or redesigned to address the inequality gaps between men and women. within the educational spaces. Public educational institutions have the social and humanitarian responsibility to offer spaces where students, academic and non-academic staff are trained, cared for with dignity and respect for their human rights. In this theoretical study, some mechanisms and strategies are mentioned that can contribute to the construction of academic and legal instruments for the mainstreaming of the gender perspective, with the purpose of promoting, on the one hand, competences and abilities in students that allow them to conduct themselves with this perspective, as well as training managers, teachers and non-teachers, men and women to promote collaborative work to reduce hegemonic power gaps and provide academic, care and service spaces free of gender violence. Some experiences implemented at the Autonomous University of Guerrero are resumed, which have allowed to reduce the rates of violence, especially against female students and workers.Uno de los desafíos de las Universidades como Instituciones Públicas Educativas es atender la violencia de género mediante políticas públicas que emanen de lo constitucional con perspectiva de género y de esta forma se implementen o rediseñen mecanismos y estrategias para atenden las brechas de desigualdad entre hombres y mujeres al interior de los espacios educativos. Las instituciones educativas públicas tienen la responsabilidad social y humanitaria de ofertar espacios donde las y los estudiantes, personal académico y no académico sea formado, atendido con dignidad y respeto sus derechos humanos. En este estudio teórico, se mencionan algunos mecanismos y estrategias que pueden abonar a la construcción de instrumentos académicos y jurídicos para la transversalización de la perspectiva de género, con el propósito de promover por un lado competencias y habilidades en los estudiantes que les permitan conducirse con esta perspectiva, así como,  capacitar a directivos, docentes y no docentes, hombres y mujeres a fomentar trabajos de colaboración para reducir las brechas hegemónicas de poder y brindar espacios  académicos, de atención y de servicios  libres de violencia de género. Se retoman algunas experiencias implementadas en la Universidad Autónoma de Guerrero, que han permitido disminuir los índices de violencia, sobre todo, a las mujeres estudiantes y trabajadoras
