Terapia psicomotriz fina para mejorar el proceso grafomotor en niños de educación inicial

Fine motor skills is the relationship that occurs between the small muscles located in the hand and fingers with the eyes; forming hand-eye coordination; allowing to achieve a good teaching-learning process in reading and writing. Objective. To carry out a review of information on fine psychomotor therapy to improve the graphomotor process in children of initial education. Methodology. A bibliographic review was carried out in academic search engines including the descriptors: graphomotricity, fine psychomotor therapy, therapeutic strategies, initial education. Information was compiled and the main therapeutic strategies used in fine psychomotor therapy were delimited. Results. A definition of each term was provided, as well as the importance of promoting fine motor therapy from the initial stages. Conclusions. It is necessary to create preventive programs and resources aimed at preparing children to face a life cycle with the best functional age through learning.La motricidad fina es la relación que se presenta entre los músculos pequeños ubicados en la mano y dedos con los ojos; formando la coordinación ojo-mano; permitiendo lograr un buen proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje en la lecto-escritura. Objetivo. Realizar una revisión de información de la terapia psicomotriz fina para mejorar el proceso grafomotor en niños de educación inicial. Metodología. Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica en buscadores académicos incluyendo los descriptores: grafomotricidad, terapia psicomotriz fina, estrategias terapéuticas, educación inicial. Se logro compilar información y se delimitó las principales estrategias terapéuticas empleadas dentro de la terapia psicomotriz fina. Resultados. Se brindo una definición de cada término, así como también la importancia de potenciar la terapia psicomotriz fina desde etapas iniciales. Conclusiones. Es necesario la creación de programas y recursos preventivos orientados en preparar a los niños y niñas para que afronten un ciclo vital con la mejor edad funcional mediante el aprendizaje
