Hubungan Antara Kelekatan Pada Orang Tua Dengan Resiliensi Santri Pondok Pesantren Di Kota Pekanbaru

Due to the difficulties in adapting, the condition of students who are away from their parents, and the rules existing in Islamic boarding schools, a greater standard of resilience is required to overcome these issues. Parental attachment is one of the variables suggested to influence resilience. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between parental attachment and the students' resilience at the boarding school in Pekanbaru. Cluster random sampling was used to select 100 participants for this research. The data collection method used the Inventory of Parent And Peer Attachment-Revised (IPPA-R) scale and the Brief Resiliences Scale (BRS). A coefficient value of (r) = 0.266 and a significance value of 0.00 (p 0.05) were obtained from data analysis using Pearson Product Moment. This means that there is a significant positive relationship between parental attachment and the students’ resilience at Islamic boarding schools in Pekanbaru. The higher the parental attachment, the higher the resilience of the students in boarding school at Pekanbaru, and vice versa
