Analisis Penerapan Wakaf Pada Perbankan Syariah di Indonesia

Waqf known to the public are only immovable objects. In fact, apart from immovable objects, there are movable objects in the form of money that can be donated. If cash waqf is managed effectively, it can be used to alleviate poverty. The purpose of this research is to analyze the application of cash waqf in sharia banking in Indonesia. This study uses secondary data sourced from the 2015-2019 quarterly financial reports. Sampling using purposive sampling method with a sample of 8 Islamic banks. The data analysis method of this research is descriptive, the variables used in this research are fundraising, investment, and profit sharing. The results of this study indicate that fundraising is ineffective for the application of cash waqf, processing of funds (investment) is effective for the application of cash waqf, and for the results of processing waqf funds is not effective for the application of cash waqf
