A high pressure kinetic study was carried out in a wide range of operating conditions to study the effects of pressure, temperature, fuel concentration and equivalence ratio on the catalytic combustion of methane, hydrogen and carbon monoxide over a perovskite-based catalyst. A plate type reactor configuration was chosen. This geometry allowed working in a kinetic control avoiding mass transfer limitations if appropriate experimental conditions are chosen. Since especially for GT application it is important to study the ignition phenomenon, which results to be ruled by kinetics, the study of the kinetics of CH4, H2 and CO catalytic combustion was carried out in a range of temperature consistent with the ignition temperatures and global reac...
