Limiting equations in the stability problem.

In this paper it is proved a conjecture of G. Sell. That is it is proved that if the r.h.s. of the equation satisfies a Lipschitz condition uniform in t and if all the limiting equations satisfy a property of uniform asymptotic stability, the same property is satisfied by the given equation. Furthermore results on total stability are obtained for asymptotically autonomous equations
