Mahnert 1980”, “ Kenya, Malindi, Silversands; laisses de mer; [leg.] V. Mahnert, 7.8.1965 ” [under wooden planks on the seashore]. Current status. Valid, as Garypus marmoratus Mahnert, 1982. Remarks. The holotype and further paratypes were deposited in NHMG, further paratypes in Museum of Evolution of Uppsala University (‘Inst. Zool.
