Efektifitas Pelatihan Pertolongan Pertama Henti Jantung dengan Model Selamat terhadap Pengetahuan dan Keterampilan Masyarakat Kota Pontianak

ABSTRACT Cardiac arrest outside the hospital or commonly called OCHA (Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest) is a condition that often threatens a person's life. In some countries the incidence of OHCA has increased and for the most part only a few victims have survived. This condition is related to the low rate of BLS first aid in cardiac arrest in the community and the time required by health workers to the scene. This will certainly affect the survival rate of patients with cardiac arrest outside the hospital. This study aims to see the effectiveness of Cardiac Arrest First Aid Training with the SELAMAT model on the knowledge and skills of the people of Pontianak City in 2021. This study uses a quantitative method using a quasi-experimental design (quasi-experimental) with a pre and post test design with control, namely to intervene in two groups. The results of this study indicate that cardiac arrest first aid training with the SELAMAT model is effective in increasing the knowledge and skills of the Pontianak city community with p = 0.000 each. There is a need for further development in the application of the technology-based SELAMAT model to facilitate first aid for cardiac arrest. Keywords: BLS, SELAMAT, Knowledge, Skills ABSTRAK Henti jantung di luar rumah sakit atau yang biasa disebut OCHA (Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest) merupakan kondisi yang seringkali mengancam hidup seseorang. Di beberapa negara kejadian OHCA mengalami peningkatan dan sebagian besar hanya sedikit korban yang bisa selamat. Kondisi ini berkaitan dengan rendahnya angka pertolongan pertama BHD pada henti jantung di masyarakat serta waktu yang dibuthkan tenaga kesehatan ke lokasi kejadian. Hal ini tentunya akan mempengaruhi tingkat keberlangsungan hidup pasien dengan henti jantung di luar rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat Efektifitas Pelatihan Pertolongan Pertama Henti Jantung Dengan Model SELAMAT Terhadap Pengetahuan dan Keterampilan Masyarakat Kota Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain quasi experiment (eksperimen semu) dengan rancangan pre and post tes with control yaitu melakukan intervensi pada dua kelompok. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan pertolongan pertama henti jantung dengan Model SELAMAT efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat kota pontianak dengan masing-masing nilai p= 0,000. Perlunya pengembangan lebih lanjut dalam penerapan model SELAMAT berbasis teknologi untuk memudahkan pertolongan pertama henti jantung. Kata Kunci: BHD, SELAMAT, Pengetahuan, Keterampila
