Motif dan Kepuasan User pada Fitur Aplikasi Instagram untuk Pengungkapan Diri (study pada user fitur close friend)

This research is to measure how much a person's motives and satisfaction can open their personal information using the close friends feature on instagram social media and also this study to measure the existence of a motive GAP (gap) and satisfaction with the close friends feature on Instagram. This study uses a quantitative approach, the respondents in this study are followers of the researcher's Instagram mutuals with the provisions of the creator user istagram, mutual Instagram researcher, Close Friends users, using Close Friends for more than 6 months with a total of 32 respondents. Through the Use and Gratifications theory, research shows that the highest motive for using the close friends feature is as entertainment (52.06%) while the highest satisfaction with using the close friends feature is as entertainment (83.33%), so the gap value obtained is (31.27). Meanwhile, in this study, the lowest motive was the information motive (29.14%) with information satisfaction of (64.57%) so that the gap value was (35.43%). Finally, the motive for integration and social interaction with the percentage of motives (37.46%) and the percentage of satisfaction (68.73) so that the value of misery is (31.27). Based on the overall average results of the motive gap and user satisfaction of the Close Friends feature on the Instagram application, it was 30.48% and the percentage of satisfaction was 70.69% so it can be seen that the response from respondents who use the Close Friends feature is very low
