PERAN HUKUM ADAT DALAM MENCEGAH TERJADINYA HUBUNGAN SEKSUAL DI LUAR NIKAH YANG BERDAMPAK PADA KEHAMILAN DI LUAR NIKAH (Studi di masyarakat Desa Wisata Adat Ngadas, Kecamatan Poncokusumo, Kabupaten Malang).

There are more and more violations of values and norms in Indonesian society over time, one of which is sexual behavior that is free and related to female virginity. resulting in rampant free sex and pregnancy out of wedlock. This paper aims to determine the role, effectiveness of customary law, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the Ngadas Traditional Tourism Village in preventing sexual relations outside of marriage which have an impact on pregnancy outside marriage through the petekan tradition. This writing uses a sociological legal method or called field research and uses primary and secondary data, with data collection techniques using interviews, documentation, library research and qualitative descriptive data analysis. The results of the discussion in this study indicate that the role of the petekan tradition is very effective because of its own legal factors, community factors (education), and cultural factors in preventing sexual relations outside of marriage that cause pregnancies outside of marriage. The supporting factors are community factors, village officials and officials who really pay attention to every traditional event in the Ngadas Traditional Tourism Village, the loyalty of the village community, the role of the Malang Regency Government. The inhibiting factor is adjusting the schedule of participants, another factor is that there are still some residents who are reluctant to carry out this tradition in a certain way
