Minister sees salt tests at Brookton

Article discusses Agriculture Minister Dick Old and his director Noel Fitzpatrick visiting Harry Whittington's successful trials at Brookton. This was the first time either Mr. Old or Mr. Fitzpatrick had seen the contour bank method which Mr. Whittington developed over 30 years ago. The Minister invited Mr. Whittington to work with the department in comparing salt reclamation methods. Both trials should be held under the same conditions, noting that a farm at Dangin which had a rising salt water table would be an ideal location. Mr. Whittington suggested.
