Royal Decree-Law 28/2018, of 28 December, contains a series of reforms in labour and employment. Among so many others, it has affected front way to the legal regime of the cessation of activity of self-employed workers benefit. Roughly, among the alterations produced on this benefit are: obligatory protection, the improvement in contributions, the increase in its duration, the reduction in the rate of contribution, changes regarding the birth of the benefit, the elimination of the measures of training and labour orientation and a novel system for channelling complaints from applicants.
