Nilai-Nilai Keislaman Dalam Novel Bidadari Bermata Bening Karya Habiburrahman El-Shirazy

This research is motivated by people's lives that are starting to erode in a less favorable direction. This is due to the lack of development of Islamic knowledge and character education. This study aims to identify Islamic values in the novel Bidadari Bermata Bening Habiburrahman El-Shirazy. So that we can continue to preach and distribute education and knowledge, especially knowledge about Islam. This research method is library research which is sourced from primary data and secondary data that are relevant to the research. Data Reduction and Data Presentation, or data analysis by selection process, focuses on the simplicity, abstraction, and transformation of data before limiting presentation to a structured set of information that allows inference and action. The results of this study conclude that Islamic values and character education are relevant. In today's world of literacy, what is widely read by various groups is literary books in the form of novels because it is easier to understand the contents or values in them through the characters and the contents of each dialogue, so that the existence of religious novels such as the novel Bidadari Bermata Bening is a breath of fresh air for society in terms of character formation because this novel is full of Islamic values and character education.
