Utilization of Baglog Mushroom and Compost (Mucuna bracteata) Waste on Growth and Production of Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.)

99 HlmPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kompos baglog jamur terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman mentimun (Cucumis sativus L.) dan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kompos Mucuna bracteata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman mentimun (Cucumis sativus L.), yang dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area (UMA), yang berlokasi di Jalan Kolam No.1 Medan Estate Kecamatan percut Sei Tuan, dengan ketinggian 22 meter diatas permukaan laut (mdpl), topografi datar, jenis tanah alluvial dan pH 6,12. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai dari Februari hingga Mei 2020. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan dua faktor perlakuan, yaitu: 1) Faktor perlakuan kompos baglog (K) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu: K0 = Tanpa perlakuan (Kontrol); K1 = Kompos baglog dosis 20% (1 kg per polybag); K2 = kompos baglog dosis 40 % (2 kg per polybag); K3 = Kompos baglog dosis 60% ( 3 kg per polybag), dan 2) Faktor perlakuan pupuk kompos Mucuna bracteata (M) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf, yaitu: M0 = Tanpa perlakuan (Kontrol); M1 = Kompos Mucuna dosis 7 ton/Ha (17,5 gr/polybag); M2 = Kompos Mucuna dosis 12 ton/Ha (30 gr/ polybag) M3 = Kompos Mucuna dosis 17 ton/Ha (42,5 gr/ polybag), masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 2 (dua) kali. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini yakni: Tinggi tanaman (cm), diameter batang (cm), umur berbunga (hari), jumlah buah pertanaman sampel, panjang buah (cm) pertanaman sampel, diameter buah (cm) pertanaman sampel, berat buah pertanaman sampel (gram). Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pemberian kompos baglog berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, umur berbunga, panjang buah pertanaman sampel, diameter buah per tanaman sampel, dan berat buah per tanaman sampel tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah buah pertanaman sampel, 2) Pemberian kompos Mucuna berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, umur berbunga, panjang buah pertanaman sampel, diameter buah per tanaman sampel, dan berat buah per tanaman sampel tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata pada jumlah buah per tanaman sampel, 3) Interaksi pemberian kompos baglog dan kompos Mucuna berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, umur berbunga, panjang buah per tanaman sampel, diameter buah per tanaman sampel, dan berat buah pertanaman sampel tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah buah per tanaman sampel. This study aims to determine the effect of using mushroom baglog compost on the growth and production of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) plants and to determine the effect of Mucuna bracteata compost on the growth and production of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) plants, which is carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University. Medan Area (UMA), which is located on Jalan Kolam No.1 Medan Estate, Percut Sei Tuan District, with a height of 22 meters above sea level (masl), flat topography, alluvial soil types and pH 6.12. This research was conducted from February to May 2020. This research used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) with two treatment factors, namely: 1) Baglog compost treatment factor (K) consisting of 4 levels, namely: K0 = No treatment (Control); K1 = Baglog compost dose of 20% (1 kg per polybag); K2 = baglog compost dose of 40% (2 kg per polybag); K3 = baglog compost with a dose of 60% (3 kg per polybag), and 2) Mucuna bracteata (M) compost treatment factor which consists of 4 levels, namely: M0 = No treatment (Control); M1 = Mucuna compost dose of 7 tons / ha (17.5 gr/ polybag); M2 = Mucuna compost with a dose of 12 tons / Ha (30 gr / polybag) M3 = Mucuna compost with a dose of 17 tons / Ha (42.5 gr / polybag), each treatment was repeated 2 (two) times. The parameters observed in this study were: plant height (cm), stem diameter (cm), flowering age (days), number of fruit per sample, fruit length (cm) in sample crop, fruit diameter (cm) cropping sample, weight of fruit planted sample (gram). The results obtained from this study were: 1) The application of baglog compost had a very significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, flowering age, fruit length of the sample crop, fruit diameter per sample plant, and fruit weight per sample plant but had no significant effect on the number Fruit crop samples, 2) Giving Mucuna comps had a very significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, flowering age, fruit length of sample cropping, fruit diameter of sample cropping, and weight of fruit per plant sample but did not have a significant effect on the number of fruit per plant sample. 3)The interaction of baglog compost and Mucuna compost had a very significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, flowering age, fruit length per sample plant, fruit diameter per sample plant, and fruit weight per sample plant but did not significantly affect the number of fruit per sample plant
