PERAN GANDA IBU RUMAH TANGGA DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 (Studi pada Istri yang ditinggal Suami Meninggal Karena Covid-19 di Desa Bacem Kecamatan Sutojayan Kabupaten Blitar)

The purposes of this study are: 1) To explain the role, strategy or efforts of housewives in carrying out dual roles during the covid-19 pandemic, 2) To explain the obstacles faced by housewives in carrying out dual roles during the covid-19 pandemic. This research is a case study research with a qualitative approach. Research subjects were determined by purposive technique. From the results of the study, it was concluded that: 1) The dual role of the mother is divided into two, namely the role of parents and the role of breadwinner, so that the dual role runs well using several strategies, namely managing time, managing finances, overcoming emotions, maintaining health, establishing communication good relationship with the family, maintain intimacy in the family and draw closer to Allah SWT, 2) Obstacles faced by housewives in carrying out dual roles, namely internal and external constraints. The internal obstacle of housewives in carrying out dual roles during the pandemic is physical and mental adjustment. While external constraints come from the family environment, community environment and workplace
