Premonstratensian canonry in Želiv in the late middle Ages

1 Abstract The aim of the diploma thesis is to compile a modern critical edition of documents concerning the Premonstratensian monastery Želiv from the years 1420-1499, including an introduction describing the wider context of the history of the Premonstratensians and their establishment in the Czech lands. The edition is preceded by the analysis of the papers from a diplomatic and paleographic point of view and by the description of dorsal notes. Furthermore, the evaluation of documents content and connection with specific facts from the history of the Želiv Monastery is also performed
