This paper examines job satisfaction and its predictors in the information technology sector. The aim is to examine job satisfaction factors specific to work in information technology sector and to determine whether these factors differ in their predictors of job satisfaction across roles within a software development and technology testing organization. The theoretical section focuses on the field of occupational health psychology, and in particular on the theoretical anchoring of the concept of job satisfaction.
