KEMAMPUAN LITERASI NUMERASI DALAM MENYELESAIKAN MASALAH KONTEKSTUAL PADA SISWA SMP

This study uses a type of research with a qualitative and descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII SMPN 5 Malang consisting of 22 students with 3 students representing the high category, medium category, and low category to conduct interviews. The results showed that the numeracy literacy ability of students in the high category met two indicators of numeracy literacy ability, namely analyzing data and completing analysis results to predict and make conclusions that students with high categories had not been able to meet the first indicator, namely the use of symbols. Students in the medium category are able to fulfill one indicator, namely analyzing data and have not been able to meet the other two indicators, namely the use of symbols and completing the analysis results, while students in the low category have not been able to fulfill one indicator of numeracy literacy abilit
