ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN KELAYAKAN USAHATANI JAGUNG (Zea Mays) HIBRIDA DI DESA TALONANG BARU KECAMATAN SEKONGKANG KABUPATEN SUMBAWA BARAT

Purpose of this study was to determine the cost of corn farming in Talonang Baru Village, Sekongkang District and to analyze income, as well as the feasibility of corn farming in Talonang Baru Village, Sekongkang District. The study was conducted in Sekongkang District, West Sumbawa, NTB which was determined purposively. The population in this study were corn farmers in Talonang Baru Village, Sekongkang District, West Sumbawa Regency, amounting to 209 farmers. The sampling technique was purposive (deliberately) with the sample criteria being farmers who had planted corn at least once, and had a minimum land area of 0.25 ha. The size of the sample was determined using the Slovin formula, so the number of samples in this study was 68 farmers. The data collection method used is the interview method for primary data collection, and uses the method of observation, questionnaires, interviews, and literature study. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of production costs, revenues, revenues, and feasibility. The results of this study indicate that (1) The average total cost of corn farming production in Talonang Baru Village for one harvest is Rp. 12,341,929. (2) The average income of corn farmers in Talonang Baru Village in one harvest is Rp. 31,082,801. (3) The average result of the analysis of corn farming efficiency in Talonang Baru Village in one harvest is 3.61 and can be said to be feasible, because the R/C ratio obtained (> 1) is greater than one
