Analisis Efisiensi Produksi dan Pendapatan Pada Usahatani Jagung Di Kec. Wirosari, Kabupaten Grobogan ( Studi Kasus : Di Desa Tambahrejo, Desa Tambahselo)

Corn is the second food commodity after rice and a source of calories or food substitutes rice. Supplies of corn will continue to increase from year to increase production so that the necessary effort. The use of corn for feed has reached 50% of the total requirement. Therefore, the productivity of maize strived to continue to rise until it reaches the standard of research R & D is 4.8 to 8.5 I / tonne. Grobogan District known as the granary producing food crops in Central Java province, including the results of the corn. This study aimed to analyze the efficiency of corn farming in the district Grobogan and to know the income received by farmers in the study area. The selection of respondents (sample) used in this study are 100 corn farmers were selected randomly (simple random sample) from two villages with more productivity than other villages. Elected village is the village Tambahrejo and Tambakselo. The analysis was performed by using Frontier production functions. The variables in the farm which has significant influence is variable land area, seed, fertilizer SP-36, the old farming, pesticides, irrigation and labor. While the variables are not significant in corn farming is urea. This is caused by the use of urea is less than the standard usage. The results show that rice farming has the technical efficiency (ET) of 0.84, the price efficiency (FE) of 2.14 and economic efficiency (EE) of 1.79. Technical efficiency value close to the one that means the farm is done inefficiently. Farming in Sub Wirosari is still profitable, this is indicated by the value of R / C ratio of 2.80.
