ANALISIS SEKTOR UNGGULAN DAN TIPOLOGI KLASSEN DI KABUPATEN SITUBONDO 2010-2018

This study aims to identify the leading sectors in Situbondo Regency, and then identify which sectors have export competitiveness. This study uses GRDP data on the basis of constant prices by business field in 2010-2018. The data was obtained from a secondary survey, namely by utilizing the data already available at the relevant agencies. The research method used is LQ Analysis, DLQ Analysis, Shift Share Analysis, and Classification Typology. The results of this study indicate that the sectors that have advantages are Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, Mining and Quarrying sector, Transportation and Warehousing sector, Financial and Insurance Services sector, Real Estate sector, and Government Administration sector, Defense and Mandatory Social Security. The economic pattern of Situbondo Regency is classified as a Distressed Developed Region. It said the forward was depressed due to low growth but had a contribution. This is because the sub-district's economic growth rate is lower than the district's economic growth rate, while it has a higher per capita GRDP when compared to the district's per capita GRDP. The local government of Situbondo Regency should utilize and develop the potential/superior sectors along with their superior sub-sectors, so that they can provide added value for economic development and improve the welfare of the surrounding community
