PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN Lemna sp. PADA PAKAN TERHADAP PERTAMBAHAN BOBOT ITIK PEKING (Anas platyrhynchos domestica L.) SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR BIOLOGI

The population of ducks is large in Indonesia. Based on the Directorate General of Livestock and Animal Health data, there was a significant increase in ducks from 2015 to 2019. The low role of ducks as a meat producer is due to inadequate and quite expensive feed. One of the solutions to solve this issue is producing alternative feeds from Lemna. This research aims to identify the effect of the addition of Lemna (Lemna sp.) to animal feed on the weight gain of Peking ducks (Anas platyrhynchos domestica L.) and identify the use of the results of the study concerning the effect of the addition of Lemna sp. to feed on the weight gain of Peking ducks (Anas platyrhynchos domestica L.) as biology learning resources. Data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA. The sample was determined using a random sampling technique. The most effective treatment was found in a combination of 25% factory feed and 75% lemna. The high protein content in lemna affects the weight gain of the ducks. High protein consumption can also affect protein intake in meat
