Guided by the belief that all children should have an equal opportunity to thrive, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF) works with communities to create conditions for vulnerable children to realize their full potential in school, work and life. Our funding focuses on three interconnected priorities – thriving children, working families and equitable communities.We bring a racial equity lens to all of our work, and make community engagement and developing leaders integral to all we undertake.With founding roots in Michigan, WKKF has invested in Michigan since its inception in 1930. In the past five years (2013-2018) our programming investment in the state has totaled approximately $337 million dollars. Although funding is greatest in our Michigan priority places – Detroit, Battle Creek and Grand Rapids – our efforts touch the lives of children and families across the state
