Memristör (Hafızalı Direnç) doğrusal olmayan bir devre elemanıdır. 1971'de Dr. Leon Chua tarafından ortaya atılmıştır. Dr. Chua akı ile yük arasında bir bağlantı varsa, bunun o ana kadar literatürde bahsedilmeyen memristör adını verdiği elemanı tanımlayacağını iddia etmiştir. 2008 yılında, bir HP laboratuvarında memristör gibi davranan bir memristif sistem bulunmuştur.
