Ketorolac tromethamine SR tablets were prepared by direct compression technique and were found to be good without chipping, capping, and sticking. • Drug-excipient interaction studies were carried out by FT-IR in order to indicate the compatibility of drug with the polymers. The results revealed that the drug and polymers were satisfactorily compatible, without any significant changes in chemical nature of the drug. • The pre compression parameters like bulk density, tapped density, carr’s index and hausners ratio were determined and were found to be with in I.P limits.
