Analisis Kesalahan Berbahasa Tataran Semantik Dalam Berita Politik Surat Kabar Tribun Pekanbaru

Based on the phenomenon of the Pekanbaru Tribune newspaper, especially in the news there are still language errors in politics. The language error tend to be at the semantic level, such as cognate errors, due to confused pairs and mistakes due to wrong choice of words appropriate. Based on this, the problems in this research are: How are language errors at the semantic level in newspaper political news? Tribune Pekanbaru? The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze, interpret, and conclude language errors at the semantic level in the political news of the Pekanbaru Tribune newspaper. Methods in research is the Content Analysis method. Sources of data in this study is the Pekanbaru Tribune newspaper. The approach used in This research is a qualitative approach. This type of research is library (library research). Based on the results and discussion there are errors in the political news of the Pekanbaru Tribune newspaper include: (1) errors due to co-parents in the political news of the Pekanbaru Tribune newspaper as many as 3 data, (2) errors due to the confused pairs contained in the political news of the Pekanbaru Tribune newspaper as many as 5 data, (3) errors Inappropriate choice of words contained in the political news of the Tribune newspaper Pekanbaru as many as 24 data
