This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of internet cafe supervision in Marpoyan Damaikota Pekanbaru in 2020. The problem raised in this study is that the supervision carried out is less objective and not carried out evenly, this can be seen from the problems caused by several internet cafe operations. in Pekanbaru City, especially in the Tampan District, one of which is being a place of truancy for students and even students, internet cafes are one of the favorite places for teenagers or students and even students to ditch from their obligations in the educational process. Assessment indicators in measuring the effectiveness of Pekanbaru City internet cafe supervision used include Clarity of Objectives, Clarity of Strategy for Achievement of Goals, Process of Analysis and Policy Formulation that is solid, careful planning, proper programming, availability of facilities and infrastructure, effective and efficient implementation, system supervision and control. The type of research located at the Department of Communication, Informatics, Statistics, and Encryption of Pekanbaru City is a descriptive survey, which prioritizes the interview list as a data collection tool and the data collected with this tool is then used as the main raw material to analyze the empirical conditions of the objectivity of the existence of research objectives at the location. researched. The key informants in this research are the Head of the SPBE Infrastructure Services Division, the Internet Cafe Owner, the Community. Withdrawal technique for key informants uses a purposive sampling technique, while for informants, the author uses snowball sampling. The types and techniques of data collection used consisted of, primary data collected using the interview list technique and secondary data collected using observation and documentation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is by using Cresswell theory. Based on this analysis technique, the authors assess and conclude that the Effectiveness of Internet Cafe Supervisors in Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City in 2020 has not been carried out properly
