The use of drugs is increasing containing tramadol for the treatment of acute and chronic pain and in post-surgical pain. Tramadol is a synthetic opioid and acts as central acting analgesic with a dual mechanism of action: as a micron receptor agonist and as a powerfull inhibitor of the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine.
