Die vorliegende Dissertation untersucht die Genexpression und Proteinsynthese der klassischen Steroidhormonrezeptoren in den humanen Zellen des parodontalen Ligaments (PDLCs) in Abhängigkeit spender- und zahnspezifischer Faktoren mit dem Ziel, zu einer weiteren Klärung in der darum entstandenen wissenschaftlichen Diskussion beizutragen. Analysiert wurden mithilfe der quantitativen Echtzeit-Polymerasekettenreaktion, des Western Blots und der Immuncytochemie die Expressionsmuster von Östrogen- (Gene: ESR1 und ESR2; Proteine: ERα und ERβ), Androgen- (AR) und Progesteron- (PR) rezeptoren unter Berücksichtigung des Geschlechts und einer 24-stündigen-Hormonstimulation in den PDLCs von sechs gesunden Spendern (weiblich: n = 3, männlich: n = 3). ...
