Hubungan Antara Dukungan Sosial Dengan Kepercayaan Diri Siswa Kelas X SMK Negeri 2 Wonogiri

Studying psychology is very important for the personality and behavior of an individual. Individuals are expected to feel psychological well-being so that they have self-confidence. If a person gets high social support from his environment, it can also affect his level of self-confidence. This study aims to examine how the effect of social support on the self-confidence of class X students at SMK Negeri 2 Wonogiri. The form of this research is quantitative research with survey method. This study uses primary data obtained from a questionnaire in the form of a Google Form which consists of 2 scales, namely the Self-Confidence Scale and the Social Support Scale. Both scales are closed scales of 80 items with each scale consisting of 40 items. The population in this study was class X students at SMK Negeri 2 Wonogiri as many as 5 majors, with sampling using the Population Study method where sampling was 3 majors namely TKR (Light Vehicle Engineering), TGB (Building Drawing Engineering) and TM (Mechatronics Engineering). The hypothesis in this study is accepted where there is a significant positive relationship between social support and self-confidence in class X students at SMK Negeri 2 Wonogiri. Based on the results of the research data, the effective contribution was 39.1%. The results of the categorization of the social support scale showed that the level of self-confidence of class X students of SMK Negeri 2 Wonogiri was included in the high category. The results of the categorization of the social support scale show that the social support obtained by class X students of SMK Negeri 2 Wonogiri is in the high category.
