The team of Dr. Poyet is interested in the study of protein-protein interactions (PPIs) in the control of apoptosis, and their modulation in the context of novel therapeutic strategies. They demonstrated the important role of the protein AAC-11 in the development and progression of tumors. AAC-11 is an anti-apoptotic protein, overexpressed in several malignant tissues and cells.
