This study consists of two main themes. The study primarily focuses on the founding cadres of the Republic, who seemed to have a goal of keeping distance from religion, had the motive of keeping religion under control. In this context, the main claim of the study is that the Republic of Turkey has a "Césaropapist" thought rather than "Secularist" patterns.
