Climatic and land use changes have been found to affect atmospheric composition and air quality worldwide, but the mechanisms and pathways involved are not fully understood or quantified. Moreover, chemical transport models that attempt to quantify atmospheric composition vary drastically in terms of reaction mechanisms and parameterization approaches.
