This Doctoral Thesis has focused on the study of a class of solar cells called Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells. Initially, I optimized a flow method integrated with one UV-VIS spectrophotometer, which was previously developed for the monitoring of the dye uptake on TiO2 photoanodes of two commercial dyes (N3 and N719), adapting it to the utilization with organic dyes that possess higher molar extinction coefficients. This technique has allowed us to obtain kinetic information concerning the process of dye uptake from GD2 solutions at different concentrations. Some GD2 solutions have been studied in the presence of Cholic Acid as co-adsorbate. It has been found that the adsorption process of GD2 can be described by means of a pseudo-first order...
