Recently, the debate on which social entity can be defined as a family has been heated and often inconclusive in finding a single and unequivocal definition. One possible problem is the desire to close this entity (the family) within the confines of the law and its morphological structure. Yet, the answer may be right in front of our eyes, provided we looked at the family as an ever-changing social entity whose very formation is in constant evolution.
